What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop robotic arms, grippers, and motion mechanisms for high-precision automation
- Create and optimize CAD models using PTC Onshape to develop precision components
- Prototype and test mechanical parts using 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping techniques
- Collaborate with electronics and software teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems for seamless automation
Must-Have Skills
- Experience with robotic system design and automation
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., PTC Onshape)
- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and motion control
- Hands-on experience with actuators, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Understanding of manufacturing techniques (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and R&D mindset, with a passion for agritech and sustainability
- Strong programming experience in Python and C++, with solid mathematical foundations and creative problem-solving skills
Bonus (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior experience in design for manufacturing (DFM)
- Prior experience in working with motion control systems
- Experience in FEA simulations, structural analysis, and materials science
