Role Overview
As a Robotics Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our agricultural robotic systems. You will work closely with the engineering team to identify potential failures, develop testing frameworks, and improve the overall quality of our machines.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive testing of the machine for various edge cases to ensure robust operation.
- Analyze and understand failure scenarios, proposing possible solutions that match the machine's state.
- Perform statistical analysis of the results produced by the machines to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Write and maintain various Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-loop (SIL) tests.
- Improve the machine's logging functionality for better diagnostic and monitoring capabilities.
- Assist horticultural experts in preparing test suites for specialized agricultural analysis.
